Sorry, I’ve been really slack with writing this blog lately!
Latest news is that we have secured a place at the Chorleywood Village Day on Saturday 14th July! We had a stall at this busy event back in 2016, but unfortunately we were between some worthy charity stalls which were canvassing out in front of our stall, which meant most people avoided coming anywhere near. I did feed this back to the organisers and suggested that they keep charities separate to businesses in the future. Stall holders are asked to remain within their own allocated space, but I do find similar happens quite regularly. It’s always difficult with events like these and knowing where best to place people, but at least by giving feedback, there can be improvements in the future.
We have also been working on improving our labelling and packaging, and looking at what products to carry forward into this year, what to improve and what to perhaps discontinue. We want to simplify and work smarter, but we also want to put more emphasis on our strapline: “A Caribbean Skincare Experience”. Anyway, we’ll keep you posted on that!
